, a harbour device that was intended for the D-Day beaches of Normandy. Or maybe you’d rather be in open water exploring the Sea Vixen, a British two-seat jet fighter carcass that the Royal Navy deliberately sunk here, between Ferrybridge and the helicopter base.
Ferrybridge is also host to an unforgettable Underwater Trail. This trench is about fifteen to twenty feet deep and supports a wide range of species, like mackerels, wrasses, and spider crabs.

You can sign up for classes that suit your level and start diving immediately. For the adventurous soul, this is also an excellent launching site for more serious diving beyond the harbour walls.
