Dorset holiday lets are proving very popular for the 2012 Olympic Sailing Events. Enquiries for 2012 are pouring in as the search for accommodation hots up in Weymouth and Portland. 2011 is also a very busy time for Dorset holiday cottages as there are 2 major practice events being staged at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy; Sail for Gold at the beginning of June and the Olympic Test Event at the beginning of August. Accommodation on Portland is becoming difficult to find and the teams and support staff do need to be as near to the WPNSA as possible. In 2012 there will be another Sail for Gold ahead of the actual Olympics.

Now is the time to book accommodation in Weymouth and Portland for the Olympic Sailing Events at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. 2011 will see the Sail for Gold Regatta from 5th - 11th June, the IFDS Worlds from 1st - 8th July and Olympic Test Event from 31st July - 13th August. Weymouth accommodation is being snapped up fast for these events and if you are looking to visit the area during any of these events you need to book now! 2012 brings the Olympics from 27th July - 12th August but there is also Sail for Gold Regatta in June 2012 from 10th - 16th. Be ahead of the rush and book now for these events.
