First time we have chosen a holiday cottage rather than a hotel and will never go back to hotels now! Very clean house, great location and amazing views. The bed is so comfy. We chose these cottages for an impromptu stay on Portland and have been so impressed with not only the accommodation offered but also with the service we have received from Deborah.
The high standards maintained in these cottages was delightful and welcoming after a long journey down from Blackpool.

We loved the cottage and it’s very comfortable, beautifully furnished and equipped, spotless and in a great location. The cottage also has off road parking and a lovely safe, enclosed garden and patio. The upstairs sitting room is great and we enjoyed the views, reading the papers up there and generally chilling out after sailing. We really appreciated the good quality mattresses, found three loos a real help (!) and the kitchen was well equipped. I slept like a log from the first night and it usually takes me a night or two to settle into a holiday cottage or hotel. Our sailing competitors were very envious when they saw our accommodation compared to theirs for approximately the same money. There is are two small supermarkets nearby and the cottage is near Portland Bill but Weymouth is only a relatively short drive away. If we had stayed longer, I would taken advantage of the Ocean Spa and various other local amenities such as bistro, take away etc.

Stunning Views Over the Chesil Beach. We enjoyed a lovely week here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. A nice location, just a short drive from Weymouth. 1st class service from the owner Mrs Sare. (Chesil View) Mark 20.08.10
We opted for an out of season break in March and we were not disappointed. A wonderful holiday home with amazing views including picture perfect sunsets on all the nights of our stay. Well located for local amenities not always found on the rest of the island out of season. We were lucky with the weather and sunshine for 3 days, but if we were stuck inside the well kitted out lounge would cater for all. I would strongly recommend this or any of the 2 other properties. “We had a terrific stay at Quarries Reach over Christmas - in the teeth of a howling gale and rain, we were warm and cosy! The house is very well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, we even managed to cook a Christmas dinner - fabulous meat from the butcher in Easton! Great to be able to see the sea from the front windows. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, with lovely bed linen. This was our first visit to Portland, we enjoyed exploring the island and environs, especially Portland Bill and the Chesil Bank.
