For the benefit of all our guests we operate a ‘No Smoking’ policy and a ‘No Pets policy’.
All prices include all services, bed linen and towels, beds will be made-up on arrival.
Please indicate on the comments box of the booking form the bed combinations you require and how many people will be staying at the property.

65 Fortuneswell and Quarries Reach have double sofa-beds which can accommodate up to 2 extra guests. These will be charged an extra £10 per night each and this will be added to the total cost shown on the online booking system to cover extra linen, towels & services etc. Please send covering email to let us know that extra people will be staying.
Bookings can start from any day of the week and the minimum length of stay is 2 nights. Single night stays considered in Low and Mid Seasons.

Booking Conditions
MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY IS 2 NIGHTS * BOOKINGS CAN START FROM ANY DAY OF THE WEEK * SINGLE NIGHT STAYS CONSIDERED IN LOW AND MID SEASONS
- Maximum occupancies: Quarries Reach 7+2 persons, 65 Fortuneswell 6+2 persons, and Chesil View 6 persons.
- 65 Fortuneswell and Quarries Reach have double sofa-beds which can accommodate up to 2 extra guests. These will be charged an extra £10 per night each and this will be added to the total cost shown on the online booking system to cover extra linen, towels & services etc. Please send covering email to let us know that extra people will be staying. Extra guests are not permitted unless the owners are informed prior to the booking.
- The properties are available from 16.00 on the day of arrival until 11.00 on the day of departure. (earlier check-ins or later departure times are sometimes available).
- Payment in full is required at the time of booking if the reservation is for less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.
- If the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the arrival date a deposit of 1/3 of the total cost of the stay is required at the time of booking .
- The balance of the cost of the accommodation must be paid no later than 8 weeks in advance of the arrival date. Therefore, at this time the balance will be taken from the card details given, no further reminder will be sent. The date and amount of the balance will be stated on the receipt for the deposit. Failure to ensure that the balance is paid by the said date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of any money previously paid.
- You agree to look after the property and its contents, and to leave the property in the same state of repair, cleanliness and order as when you arrived, with the exception of linen & towels. Payment will be expected for the cost of making good any damage, spillages, breakages and extra cleaning. Any such incidents must be reported to the owners prior to departure.
- Housekeeping/damage deposit: we require a further deposit of £100 (payable at the same time as the balance payment). This deposit is held by us incase of any breakages, excess cleaning, etc. and will be refunded to your card details in full if the property and its contents are left in the same state of repair, cleanliness and order as at your arrival. Hirers must pay for breakages and will be held accountable for any damage, missing items and extra cleaning (defined as time taken in excess of the normal turn-around and would include: a)dirty dishes/dishwasher not emptied; b) dirty cooker/hob/oven/fridge/microwave etc; c) furniture, if moved, not put back into its original position; d) excessive quantities of rubbish requiring disposal etc. The housekeeping deposit is refunded as soon as we have serviced the property for the next guests.
- Cancellations: The deposit/payment for the accommodation will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation more than 8 weeks in advance of the arrival date less an admin charge of £50.
- In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the cost of the accommodation will only be refunded if the apartment is re-let for the reserved period, pro-rata if the property is re-let for only part of the reserved period, in either case less an administration charge of £50.
- Contemporary Cottages reserve the right to cancel any booking already made if the property becomes unavailable or unsuitable for holiday letting (eg. fire, interruption of utility services, unforeseen circumstances of the owner etc.). In this event, Contemporary Cottages will notify the hirer as soon as possible and refund all monies received. Contemporary Cottages liability is limited to the rents received.
- We recommend that you take out travel insurance which provides cover in the event of cancellation less 2 months prior to the arrival date.
- We reserve the right to enter the accommodation during your stay to effect essential repairs or otherwise in case of an emergency.
- Price Restructuring - Contemporary Cottages reserves the right to restructure prices for available rentals at any time, however if you have already booked a cottage with us the price agreed at the time of booking will remain the same.
